Richard Timms - Analyst, Technical Regulation

Richard joined Complyport in August 2006 from the Legal & Compliance Department of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Europe. He had previously worked as a paralegal at a number of law firms in London before progressing into the financial services market with Sumitomo.

Richard completed the Bar Vocational Course at the Inns of Court School of Law, London. He previously read Ancient History for three years at Exeter University and completed the Common Professional Examination in Law at the College of Law in Guildford.

As a legal/regulatory resource, Richard is an Analyst in our ‘Technical Regulation Team’ providing detailed research and analysis for our clients and consultants. He is currently studying for the IMC.
