On-going Compliance Support
In respect of experience, Complyport’s compliance support team is second to none; being managed by Maurice Daines, a former FSA Supervision Manager and supported by highly competent and qualified individuals.
The team will work with the client to establish a risk based compliance framework at a firm and then train compliance personnel, review and report on the subsequent compliance records and procedures and provide regulatory support. Complyport’s regulatory support can be at a top-down level, such as a once-a-year review or the more common bottom-up approach, whereby Complyport might be on-site at the clients as often as once-a week, maintaining records, reviewing documents and implementing procedure. Either level of support is carefully structured to first recognise the client’s regulatory risk and then identify a practical solution, whilst acknowledging the FSA’s rules and guidance.
The vast majority of Complyport’s clients are on a Retainer, which provides a comprehensive level of support for one monthly fee. Alternatively, periodic visits can be made to the client’s offices to simply review the compliance and subsequently report findings.
Complyport has sufficient resources for you to outsource your compliance needs to us or for us to provide a compliance professional at your offices as often as one or more days per week.
Complyport also welcomes special projects, enforcement cases and complex challenges and has been commended for it professional and practical approach.
It is considered that Complyport’s network of FSA contacts, including many former colleagues in FSA Authorisation, Supervision, Policy, Themes, fund-approval and Enforcement is second to none.
